As part of the Westport School Committee’s search process for a new Superintendent of Schools, consultants from the Collins Center at UMass Boston will host a focus group for parents and community members to provide input about the type of leader and leadership that will best serve the Westport Community Schools. This focus group will be held on Monday, March 5th at 6:30 pm in the Jr./Sr. High School Media Center. Community input is extremely important to help the consultants form a profile of the new superintendent selected to lead the district.
Those who cannot attend the forum but would like to provide their input into the same questions posed at the focus group meetings or would like to share their thoughts with us, should send them to Dr Ray F. Shurtleff, Senior Associate, Collins Center at email@example.com. The focus group questions can be found on the district website http://www.westportschools.org under the section Superintendent Search. Information on how to apply to serve as a community representative on the Screening Committee is also on the school website.
