Beach Committee

Beach Applications are now available online.

Thank you for your patience as we roll out our new system and work through any minor issues. Although paper applications are available at the Town Clerk's office, we encourage you to try the new system using either your computer or smartphone. An abundance of paper applications will increase the beach permit turnover time overall, especially during this time as we process state mandated mail in ballots and the census.

The Library and the Council on Aging have also offered their services to residents who would like some assistance with the process.

We will correct the address on our end!!! Once again, thank you for your patience as we work through some of these issues with the developers.

Beach Chairs

Even though our summer weather has passed and our lifeguards have gone home, the beaches of Westport (Cherry & Webb, Knubble Beach, and East Beach) are still open for anyone wanting to walk on the beach, enjoy some nice weather, or to sit and watch the waves, but beach passes are required year round for parking at the beaches. You will be issued a parking ticket violation if you do not have a parking permit.

No Dogs or Horses Allowed from April 16th to September 15th.  Owners are legally liable for their animal's actions.  During the period of permitted use dogs must be restrained according to leash laws, horses must be under complete control.  Dog & horse waste must be removed, not thrown in ocean or dunes, or buried.  Owners may lose beach pass & beach privileges for any violation.
