Low-Income Internet Access (Lifeline & Spectrum Internet Assist)
Are you part of a low-income household or an older adult on a fixed income? Across the United States, internet access is far from equitable or universal. Telecommunication companies are required to provide access to the internet via a program that subsidizies low-income families. These program offer internet services at a rate of $9.95 per month. Applicants must demonstrate that they meet income requirements (eligibility guidelines) for the Lifeline Program.
Please note the Spectrum Internet Assist appears to be a program different from the federal Lifeline program. Applicants should check eligibility criteria and speak to a customer service representative to determine cost of services and applicable discounts.
