New rules for posting meetings start July 1
Starting July 1, 2010, all boards, committees and commissions are required, by state law, to post each meeting on an individual basis.
You will no longer be allowed to post meetings for an entire month or year. Meeting postings must include the agenda and be posted with the town clerk's office at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting. Please be aware that any meeting taking place on a Monday must be posted by Thursday. Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays will no longer count towards the 48 hours prior notice. Meeting Notices will only be accepted in the following format.
