South Coast Rail News

The Executive Office of Transportation (EOT) has submitted supplemental information on South Coast Rail to MEPA, the state agency that is reviewing the Environmental Notification Form (ENF) on the project.  EOT asked MEPA to extend its review of the ENF to allow the public and state and federal agencies time to review new information on ridership, which was not available for the original filing in November.  If you received a copy of the ENF or commented on the ENF in writing, you will receive a copy of the ridership report by mail.  Copies will also be available in libraries throughout the region.  A copy of the document will be posted at www.southcoastrail.com on or before Friday, February 20th.  You can provide comments to MEPA in writing to the address below. Comments are due to MEPA by March 17, 2009.
