List of Bicentennial Oral Histories
As part of Westport’s Bicentennial celebration, oral histories were obtained from numerous residents, mainly the “old-timers.” Their stories give us a clear glimpse of earlier days and make these three volumes of oral histories an important record of our past. Most interviews were recorded by Mary Giles, 1554 Main Road. They are available on audio tape and as a transcript at the Library.
