4. Discussion/vote regarding license non-renewals.
5. Discussion/vote regarding license extensions.
6. Discussion/vote regarding license renewal deadline date.
7. Letters of Interest for application to the Conservation Commission.
REQUIRING ACTION AND/OR READING
1. A request was received from Ellie’s Place Restaurant, 1403 Main Road regarding a closure from January 1, 2009 to March 31, 2009 for vacation and renovations.
2. An approved request was received from the Harbormaster notifying of rate changes for the 2009 Fees for the State Boat Ramp.
3. A letter was received from Labor Advantage for Workers regarding Contract Negotiations – Town Hall, Library, Cemetery and Highway Departments.
4. A request was received from Gary Sherman, Shellfish Constable regarding space on the Town Meeting Warrant for an article for Shellfish Aquaculture Rules and Regulations.
5. A request was received from Richard Earle, Harbormaster to reserve space on the Town Meeting Warrant to set up a Revolving Fund for the Hixbridge Boat Ramp.
6. A request for appointment to the Council on Aging was received from Beth Easterly.
7. A letter was received from Harold J. Sisson, Highway Surveyor regarding approval of deficit spending on the Snow/Ice Appropriation for FY ’09.
8. A request was received from the United States Department of Commerce regarding providing a list of emergency and transitional shelters for people experiencing homelessness, soup kitchens and regularly scheduled mobile food vans.
9. A letter was received from the Westport Permanent Firefighters Association Local 1802 regarding contract negotiations.
10. A copy of a letter was received from the Department of Public Safety-Board of Building Regulations and Standards regarding the Building Code Enforcement Official Certification.
NOT REQUIRING ACTION AND/OR READING
1. A letter was received from the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs regarding the FY ’09 Local Acquisitions for Natural Diversity (LAND) Grant Program, 2nd Round.
2. A notice was received from the Division of Marine Fisheries regarding the “Open to Shellfishing” for Lower River BB:4.7.
3. A notice was received from the Massachusetts Highway Department regarding price adjustments within the transportation bond bill.
4. A Release Abatement Measure (RAM) Plan Modification was received from Atlantic Environmental regarding Westport Auto Recycling, Inc.
5. A copy of a letter was received from SRPEDD regarding comments on the Environmental Notification Form for South Coast Rail.
6. A notice was received from the Executive Office Environmental Affairs announcing the plan to issue a Request for Responses (RFR) later this month.
