Westport News

The list of properties included in the Westport Point Local Historic District has been posted at the Historical Commission page.  All external changes to or demolition of buildings, structures, and objects on these properties, and not specifically excluded, are under the purview of the Westport Historical Commission in its role empowered by MGL 40C and the Westport Historical Commission Bylaw. Some of these buildings and structures are also part of the National Register.  All buildings are part of the Westport Inventory of Historical Buildings.  Detailed historical information about these properties is available at the library, town hall in the Commission's files, and at the Westport Historical Society.  Guidelines, rules and regulations and necessary application forms are posted at the Historical Commission page.
