The Westport Conservation Commission is pleased to announce the publication
of a brochure on "Understanding Wetland Protection in Westport", which
describes the functions of the Commission, the purpose of the state Wetland
and River Protection Acts and the permitting process for activities near
wetlands and coastal resource areas. This informative brochure was produced
by John Rockwell of the Buzzards Bay National Estuary Program for the town.
Free copies are available at the Conservation Commission Office and Town
Hall.
