About the CommissionThe purpose of the Commission is to preserve and protect the historical, architectural and archaeological assets of the Town of Westport. The Commission is the Town of Westport’s board responsible for community-wide historic preservation, including responsibilities under the Westport Demolition Bylaw. When acting as a Local Historic District Commission, the Commission is the board responsible for regulatory design review within the Westport Point Historic District and any other local historic district that may be established within the purview of the Commission. |
