Mosquito Spraying

The Bristol County Mosquito Control Project (BCMCP) will begin spraying June 1st between the hours of 2am and sunrise pending weather conditions.  Tempertures need to be above 55 degrees during those hours for applications to be made, so delays in June are very common.  Residents can find information on their website https://www.mass.gov/orgs/bristol-county-mosquito-control-project

Residents can find information on our website www.mass.gov/eea/bristolcountymosquitocontrol including a tentative spray schedule for which towns are done each day. Also daily, an updated list of street names will be posted for residents to see if there location is on the schedule for the following spray day. All this information is weather dependent and can change if needed due to mosquito populations or virus detections.

The Board of Selectmen will relay your name and address BCMCP if you request spraying your property against mosquitos.

Please call the Board of Selectman's office at 508 636 1006 to make that request and leave your name and address in the message.

Your name and address will be submitted to the office of Bristol County Mosquito Control (BCMC) in charge of spraying.

Weather permitting, BCMC will begin spraying each week towards the end of May on properties whose owners call in to request spraying the prior week.

BCMC does not enter private property.

Spraying is done from the truck along the street in front of your property.
